“Dick head, you’re such a dick-head” – I don’t know which is the best part here? Is it the song, the dick-handshake, or the actors in green screen suits left in the images at times? All of the above! And the disdain with which the women look at them.

In all the right ways, this is a perfectly bizarre visualization of the old boys club. The point here is that the secret language of men – or is it the secret dick-handshake – often prevails when selecting people for a raise or a new job position. Belgian advocacy organization ZIJkant released this ad just in time for “Equal Pay Day” 2023.
